We focus on family and community connections, school resources, and student growth. In partnership with the teachers, staff, and administration, PTO funds enhance the school environment, programming, resources, and professional development that help make Cooper such an amazing place for our children to learn and grow.

Goals for THIS Year!
$7000 towards for Appropriations
$9500 in Curriculum and Academic Support
What we've done so far...
$2000 for Appropriations including :
- Props for Classroom Activities (i.e. fake mustaches for a Treaty of Versailles simulation activity )
- Spanish software program
- New privacy shields for the Math Department
- Whiteboards for Algebra 1 Classes.
$8500 in Curriculum Support including:
- funded a part of the library's investment in Virginia Readers books
- subscriptions to WeVideo and Quizzizz.
What did we accomplish last year?
LOTS!
We were able to:
- distribute $5k in appropriations,
- organized the book fair
- volunteered 100s of hours,
- planned multiple staff luncheons
- hosted the 8th grade party
- helped with the SCA dance
- supported Model UN, Spelling Bee, and other student clubs
- and more....
